Investors in People
Paragon has recently been awarded the Investors In People Bronze accreditation.
The prime focus of the review was to provide feedback on five key areas:
• Management of change
• Customer Service Improvement
• Communication with Residents and with employees
• Working to One Trust
• Value for Money
We have more than met the minimum criteria for the Bronze award in all the above areas and the auditor was particularly impressed with
• The importance our people place on providing excellent customer service
• How well the vision, mission and values are understood by our people
• The successful work we have done to date with the amalgamation of the Group
• That we recognise how important value for money initiatives are for the success of the Group
• Considerable improvements with communication throughout the company and with customers
• That we understand that effective change management is dependent upon involvement of all staff and stakeholders
We are delighted to receive the accreditation but we want more, ultimately we will be going for Gold! To that end we will work hard to develop a well thought through improvement plan that will be cascaded to all staff, this will include areas such as:
• Consistently linking our values to every day delivery
• Updating the appraisal system
• Reviewing our competency framework
• Succession planning
