Who we are and What we do
One of the largest and newest Housing Associations in Surrey, Elmbridge Housing Trust was formed in 1999 to take over the ownership and management of the Council's housing and develop more affordable homes.
The transfer was completed on 27th March 2000 after extensive consultation in which the Trust met with 98% of tenants. 73% of tenants voted in the ballot with two thirds voting in favour of transfer.
A non-profit making company, the Trust’s head office is in Walton on Thames, where most of its staff are based.
