Dealing With Anti Social Behaviour
Anti Social Behaviour can often be resolved by neighbours speaking to each other informally. Residents sometimes say they would have preferred a neighbour to speak to them first before involving us if they were not aware there was a problem.
Where we have disputes between neighbours we work with Mediation North Surrey to resolve it. If you would like more information about mediation then please contact your Estate Services Officer or download their leaflet here.
If you don't think that you can speak to the other person please go to the Reporting Anti Social Behaviour section of this website for more information and/or to download an ASB incident reporting form and an Anti Social Behaviour Diary Sheet. You can also download a Neighbour Nuisance Leaflet. Alternatively, please call your Estates Services Officer directly or ring 01932 235700 and ask to be put through to your Estates Services officer.
How far can we help?
There may be times we are unable to help or can only provide limited help. Sometimes we will refer you to other agencies who may have other ways to resolve the problem. For example, Environmental Health can serve Noise Abatement Notices or seize stereo equipment in very serious noise nuisance cases. We do not have these powers.
More information is available in the Neighbour Nuisance Booklet.
