Planned Maintenance and Improvements

Our planned maintenance team are responsible for all the on-going cyclical work and improvement programmes carried out by the Trust. The Trust is continuing to update the condition of its housing stock in order to meet the Government’s Decent Homes Standards by 2010.

The Trust has an ongoing modernisation programme for its retirement accommodation and general needs housing. This includes kitchen and bathroom upgrades, door, window and roof replacements, installation of new heating systems and the provision of environmental improvements.

As part of the ongoing maintenance of our housing stock, the Trust is continuing with its programme of cyclical decorations. The programme consists of external decoration to properties and decorations to communal areas within blocks of flats. Residents will be notified when the contractors will be in their area and will be consulted on the choice of paint colour for their front doors as well as walls to communal areas in blocks of flats.
