How do I Apply for a Transfer?
If you want to move within the areas where the Trust has properties you may be eligible to go on our transfer list provided that you have
- Lived in your present home for 12 months
- Kept a clear rent account for three months
We carry out a very small number of transfers a year and more people are seeking accommodation than there are vacancies. A transfer typically takes place when a resident is facing harassment or domestic violence or they need to move for medical reasons. A transfer could also take place if there is a problem with the property you live in- if it is too small too large or needs major repair work.
If you would like to be considered for a transfer you will need to complete a Housing Application Form by clicking here.
If none of the above applies to you, your chances of a transfer may be small and we would advise you to look for other ways of moving to another property, your Estate Services Officer will be able to advise you. Click here to find your Housing Officer.
