Financial Inclusion Week

Making the most of your money week - 1st - 7th October 2011

Making the most of your money week is a week of activities designed to help and inspire you to get financially fit.

Paragon Community Housing Group have launched a week of activities designed to help and inspire residents and staff to get financially fit.

The Group is highlighting its commitment to financial inclusion with a week of activities for staff and residents on all things money. The week will be launched on Saturday 1st October at the Hampton Hill Playhouse from 10.00am to 1.00pm and Monday 3rd October at Esher Rugby Club from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. We are excited to have a short introductory video from Martin Lewis, founder of www.moneysavingexpert.com and a number of organisations will be at the launch to advise on various aspects of money management and financial planning. HELP (Housing and Employment Local Partnership) will be at the Esher Rugby club event and will be offering a CV clinic for residents. Also on offer will be an opportunity to compare utility prices using My Home Energy Switch, an online comparison tool, developed in conjunction with uSwitch and the National Housing Federation.

Further events are offered through the week at Castle Mews in Hampton and Case House in Walton on home insurance, budgeting, financial planning and switching utilities. A prize draw is offered for anyone attending any of the events during the week and one prize on offer is Sainsbury vouchers donated by Sainsburys, Tangley park Road, Hampton.
