Join TUG and make sure your voice is heard
TUG stands for Trust User Group and is the main group representing Elmbridge Housing Trust residents. TUG is consulted on Elmbridge Housing Trust’s policies and service delivery and has a formal role monitoring how well the organisation is performing. At present TUG has over 40 members, but we are always on the lookout for new members.
TUG members meetings are held each month at Case House in the evening and each meeting lasts about two hours. Members will need to prepare in advance of meetings by reading or completing any material when required.
TUG has a big influence over the way that Elmbridge Housing Trust is run. Their views are asked before major decisions are made and they are asked for approval on our policies.
Refreshments, travel and child care costs are provided. Even if you are unable to attend meetings, you can still become a member of TUG. You can consult and give your opinion over the phone, via email or by post.
Resident Involvement Officer Garry Bacon: “TUG is a fantastic opportunity for residents to have their say on a host of important issues. Every meeting deals with a different topic, we have many interesting guest speakers and there’s always a lively debate to be had!”
