Main Contractor Selected
We are delighted to announce that Durkan Limited has been selected as the main contractor for the Franklands Drive development. They are well established and experienced contractor with a very strong track record in constructing large residential developments. Further information on Durkan can be found by clicking here.

Site Entrance
The site entrance hoarding has now been reconfigured following comments from local residents.

Construction Traffic
A detailed traffic plan for construction traffic for the Franklands Drive development is in place. The drivers of any vehicles associated with our main contractor, Durkan Limited, have strict instructions regarding access routes, parking and delivery times. If any vehicle associated with the Franklands Drive development causes an inconvenience please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. It will help us to deal effectively with your complaint if you can provide as much detail as possible including a description of the vehicle and the nature of the inconvenience caused.

Current Activity
The site entrance has been constructed and work on site has commenced. Foundations and service infrastructure for the dwellings is under construction. The electricity connection to the site will be installed by Dragon Infrastructure Solutions during February 2011. This will involve laying a cable on part of the public highway. Letters have been sent to residents in Franklands Drive and parts of Row Town to inform them of the work.

Applicant currently live within the borough of Runnymede and have done so for at least six months out of the last twelve or three years out of the last five

Applicant have previous continuous residence within the borough of Runnymede amounting to five or more continuous years in that borough within the last 10 years (Only residence as an adult will be taken into account).

Applicant have immediate family (mother/father/brother/sister/adult son/adult daughter) who are currently living in the borough of Runnymede and have done so for at least five years or more

Applicant have a permanent job in the borough of Runnymede (includes part-time)

Applicant has a connection with the borough of Runnymede because of any special circumstances, such as the need to be near specialist medical or support services which are only available in a particular district
