Current Activity
Current activity on site includes general landscaping maintenance, surveying work and pre-commencement preparations. A limited number of vehicles will be leaving and entering the site during the pre-commencement works. The drivers of any vehicles associated with our main contractor, Durkan Limited, have strict instructions regarding access routes, parking and delivery times. If any vehicle associated with the Franklands Drive development causes an inconvenience please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. It will help us to deal effectively with your complaint if you can provide as much detail as possible including a description of the vehicle and the nature of the inconvenience caused.
Main Contractor Selected
We are delighted to announce that Durkan Limited has been selected as the main contractor for the Franklands Drive development. Public Exhibition
A public exhibition of the Franklands Drive development took place at Ongar Place Primary School, Milton Road on Thursday 20th May 2010. The exhibition provided an opportunity for local residents to meet representatives from the housing associations and Durkan Limited. Representatives from Durkan were able to provide further information regarding the construction arrangements for the development. Representatives from the housing associations were on hand to deal with wider questions about the development. A comments and questions form was made available to enable members of the public to submit written questions at the event or to take away and post at a later date. The housing associations are now in the process of collating the forms and responding to the questions raised.

Site Entrance Hoarding
A number of complaints and comments about the imposing nature of the site hoardings in Franklands Drive have been received. We are delighted to confirm that the hoarding to the main entrance to the site will be removed with the main entrance to be moved back in line with the rear boundaries of the houses in Franklands Drive. The entrance area will be lanscaped to produce a more sympathetic appearance.
