Anti social behaviour

We want you, your family and your neighbours to enjoy living in your home and community. Richmond Churches Housing Trust is committed to dealing with Acts of Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) by tenants or other residents.

Anti social behaviour covers a wide range of criminal and civil acts including noise, vandalism, alcohol or drug misuse or violent and threatening behaviour. We will take reasonable steps, where possible to take action to prevent and stop unacceptable behaviour.

We take reports of anti social behaviour seriously and have policies and procedures in place to provide help and take effective action where we can. We also work in partnership with other agencies including the Police, Social services, local councils, Environmental health teams and other support agencies to work together to resvolve anti social behaviour cases.

We will use prevention, enforcement and other relevant measures such as mediation or voluntary agreements to resolve cases. Enforcement measures such as serving a notice or seeking eviction can be used in the most serious cases.

If you want more information, please download a copy of our 'Anti Social Behaviour' leaflet.

Our leaflet gives you more details about our procedures and what we and other agencies can do to help. For more information about tackling anti-social behaviour you can also go to the Social Landlord Crime and Nuisance Group website at www.slcng.org.uk.
