Dealing with Anti social behaviour

Anti Social Behaviour can often be resolved by neighbours speaking to each other informally. Residents sometimes say they would have preferred a neighbour to speak to them first before involving us if they were not aware there was a problem.

Some issues reported to us as Anti Social Behaviour are in fact disputes or differences between two or more neighbours rather than cases of anti social behaviour.  If you have a dispute with a neighbour, but feel unable to speak to them directly, we can refer you to an independent mediation service.  It’s free to use and completely confidential.  Please click on the link below to find out more about what they do or to contact them for an informal chat.  When you call, please mention that you are a Richmond Churches Housing Trust resident.  Although they are based in Wandsworth, this service is available to all Richmond Churches Housing Trust tenants, wherever you live.

How far can we help?

There may be times we are unable to help or can only provide limited help. Sometimes we will refer you to other agencies who may have other ways to resolve the problem. For example, Environmental Health can serve Noise Abatement Notices or seize stereo equipment in very serious noise nuisance cases. We do not have these powers.
