Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance

At some properties, tenants are responsible for looking after a shared garden between them. 

If you pay for this in your service charge, we will provide your cleaning or grounds maintenance service.

Grounds Maintenance

Grounds maintenance refers to gardening work at your property. Nearly all our gardens are maintained by a company called Connaughts who work in partnership with us. 

Their vans are easily identified with both theirs and our company names. Their staff all wear uniforms and carry ID.  Please ask them to show their ID if you want to check who they are.

What if my garden is not maintained by Connaughts?

At some new developments, we may only own part of the property and pay a management fee to another organisation to carry out the gardening and cleaning. If you live in a block which was built after 2004, this may apply to you.

Some leasehold schemes are not included in the Connaughts contract, if you are a shared owner or own your flat, this may apply to you. If you have a Resident Manager, they will be able to tell you who does the gardening.

Cleaning

If you receive a cleaning service, this will be provided by one of our approved contractors.

The cleaning specifications vary slightly at different properties.  Please note that there may be some differences at your scheme.
